A homeowner in Tacoma asked me why I don't just use a leaf blower for the ash, and it made me realize how little people understand about creosote.
I explained that a blower just spreads the fine, acidic powder everywhere and misses the hardened glaze, but his genuine confusion showed me we need to do a better job explaining the 'why' behind our methods to clients.
