Frozen veggies are way better than fresh for cheap stir fry

I tried using fresh broccoli and bell peppers in my stir fry last week and it cost me nearly 8 bucks for one meal. Switched to a bag of frozen mixed vegetables from Aldi for 1.29 and honestly the texture was better after a quick pan fry. Learned that frozen veg is flash frozen at peak ripeness so it keeps more flavor than old fresh stuff sitting in a fridge. Anyone else find frozen stuff works better for certain recipes?

That "keeps forever in the freezer" thing is huge. It's wild how we're all slowly learning that fresh isn't always the best move, it's just what we're told. Same thing with milk, I used to buy the expensive organic stuff every week, now I just get a carton of shelf-stable oat milk and it lasts months. Frozen and shelf-stable stuff let you actually cook without planning your whole week around when stuff goes bad. It's like society tricked us into thinking fresh equals better, when really it's just more expensive and stressful.

Started buying frozen broccoli and cauliflower for my stir fries and it's way easier too. No chopping and it keeps forever in the freezer. Definitely makes weeknight dinners less of a hassle.
