Turns out the issue was a single missing slash in the markdown, which took me almost 2 hours to spot. Anyone else ever get stuck on a tiny syntax error like that?

Two hours for a single slash is actually insane. I've lost entire afternoons to stuff like that. The worst part is when you finally see it and feel like a total clown.
