Shoutout to the Trix rabbit for finally getting a bowl after 60 years
When I was a kid in the 90s the rabbit never got the cereal and I hated it, but now he actually eats it and honestly it feels wrong, like the joke died. Did the writers cave to fan pressure or did they just run out of ideas?

Watched those old commercials as a kid too and I never once felt bad for the rabbit. That was the whole point. He wanted what he could not have and that is a funny thing to watch over and over. Giving him the bowl turns a simple joke into a happy ending nobody asked for. Sometimes a character works best when they never win, and that is not mean, that is just comedy.
