Power stretcher slipped on hardwood transition, ruined my afternoon in Denver
Ngl, I was stretching a living room on a second floor in Denver and the plate caught the edge of an oak threshold, popped loose, and tore a 4 foot ripple right down the middle of some pricey berber, so I had to rip the whole section and re-pull it with double tack strip, has anyone else had luck with rubber pads on those transition areas?

Rubber pads? I've got more luck kissing the floor before I stretch.
