The whole 'follow your passion' advice is garbage for most people

I see everyone pushing this idea that you gotta love your job to be successful. But I spent 3 years chasing passion, ended up broke and stressed. Got a boring data entry gig at a logistics company in Phoenix just for the paycheck. Turns out, being good at something and getting paid well matters way more than passion. Anyone else ditch the dream for something practical and feel better about it?

Man I feel this so much, swapping the dream for a steady check was the best thing I ever did.

Right @sam_thomas, now my only dream is paying rent on time.
