Spent a whole Saturday fixing a stuck shutter on a Pentax K1000 and it was oddly satisfying
I was about to give up on this old Pentax, but after 6 hours of careful cleaning and a few choice curse words, I got the shutter firing perfectly at all speeds. Has anyone else had one of those days where a stubborn repair just clicks and reminds you why you do this?

Fixed a jammed winding mechanism on a Minolta once. Pure rage then bliss.

Tiny victory feeling"? Nah. For me it's just relief I didn't break it worse.

My first repair win was on a Yashica Electro 35 that had this sticky aperture problem. I spent like 4 hours in my kitchen with a toothpick and some isopropyl alcohol trying to clean the blades without breaking anything. When I finally heard that smooth click and saw the blades snap back to shape, I legit fist pumped in my empty apartment lol. It's wild how these old cameras test your patience but then reward you with that tiny victory feeling.
