Warning: My friend's advice on SB 721 inspections backfired hard
My buddy in LA told me to skip the full balcony inspection on my 8 unit building and just submit the self-cert form to save cash. The city flagged it in 4 months and now I'm facing a $2,000 fine plus the real inspection cost anyway. Has anyone here fought a Notice of Violation from this, or am I stuck paying it?
