Small claims case took 9 months over a $600 fence dispute
Filed in San Jose last March over a neighbor's contractor damaging our shared fence, and the hearing finally happened this week, it dragged on because the contractor kept rescheduling. Any tips for actually collecting the judgment now, or is that another multi-month process in Santa Clara County?

I always assumed collection was quick, but hearing about that 9 month drag totally changed how I see small claims now.
