Hot take: My neighbor's bad review of my tree work made me switch from spikes to a bucket truck for residential jobs
He said I was damaging the bark on his oak and after looking it up I agreed, but now I'm wondering if spikes are ever okay for healthy trees in California or if I should have just used a different method from the start, what do you all think?
