My old band saw finally gave out on a 40 pound pork shoulder last Tuesday...
I had to finish the whole cut by hand with my breaking knife, which took an extra 45 minutes and made me realize I should've replaced the blade two months ago when I first noticed the wobble. Anyone have a good brand for heavy-duty replacement blades that won't dull after a month?

Forty pounds is a huge cut for any band saw not in a commercial setting. Most home units struggle with anything over half that weight regularly. Have you checked your saw's max capacity before investing in premium blades?

Wait, 40 pounds? I mean I'm still stuck on that part like robert_lopez64 said, that's a monster piece of meat. My home saw would just give up and smoke. Idk how you even got it on the table without help.
