I finally switched to a bone saw for pork shoulders, my band saw blade kept snapping
At the shop on Friday, my band saw blade snapped mid-cut on a 40 pound shoulder, third time this month. I spent 20 minutes digging metal shards out of the meat and swore off it for good. Pulled out the old bone saw from the back shelf and did the whole breakdown in 15 minutes flat, cleaner cuts too. Anyone else here ditch their band saw for hand tools on bigger primals, or am I just going backwards?
