Third lasagna in a row turned into a lava pit, my oven is lying to me

I set the timer for 45 minutes at 375 like always, but the cheese was bubbling over the edges by minute 20. Pulled it out at 35 and the middle was still raw pasta, while the bottom looked like a coal mine. My oven dial has been off by 40 degrees since my landlord "fixed" the element last Tuesday, and I caught it with a $12 probe thermometer. Has anyone else had their oven suddenly lie after a repair job in Austin?
