The gas station receipt that exposed my grocery budget leak

I stopped for gas last month in Austin and noticed my weekly grocery total was way higher than my spreadsheet said. I checked my receipts app and saw I was buying stuff at the convenience store inside, snacks, drinks, batteries, almost every single time I filled up. Those trips added up to about $42 a week that I never counted as groceries or fun money. I started making myself pay cash for anything at that station so I feel the hit, and now my real grocery number matches my plan. Has anyone else found a hidden spending spot that threw off their whole budget tracking?

Remember that convenience store stuff still counts as groceries, just not the same category.
