The $2.50 breakfast at Rudy's in Dayton that made me rethink my whole food budget
I grabbed breakfast at Rudy's diner on 3rd Street in Dayton last Saturday and the total came to $2.50 for two eggs, toast, and coffee. I sat there doing the math on my phone and realized I had been spending $9 a day on drive thru food for almost 4 months. That's roughly $750 I could have kept. Now I'm trying to figure out which local spots still have old school prices like that, so if you know a cheap breakfast place in your town drop it below.
Man you could've bought a used car with that drive thru money and still had enough left for a year of Rudy's. Now I'm sitting here wondering what my own lazy breakfast habit has cost me and I don't like the answer.
