Rant: Grabbing bread and cheese from markets saved my trip
Honestly, I was wasting money on expensive cafes every morning. Tbh, I started buying fresh bread and local cheese for picnics instead. Ngl, what's your favorite cheap market find when you're exploring a new city?

The Mercado de San Miguel in Madrid had these little goat cheese portions for like two euros. Do you look for those pre-sliced meats too, or just stick to cheese?

Those goat cheese portions at Mercado de San Miguel sound awesome, @benclark. Pre-sliced meats are usually a separate thing though, not packed like those cheese bits. Do you grab both when you're at a market like that?
