Finally stopped wasting money on frozen pizzas after 2 months of trying homemade
I used to buy those $5 frozen pizzas every Friday night because I thought they were cheaper than making my own. Then I started tracking my grocery spending back in February and saw I was dropping around $60 a month just on those things. So I tried making pizza dough from scratch using flour, yeast, and water that cost me maybe $2 total for like 6 pizzas worth. Three months in and I'm saving at least $40 a month, plus I get to pick my own toppings. Has anyone else found a cheap meal swap that ended up way more affordable than the "budget" option?

Sounds like a whole lot of math for some pizza

Oh yeah I did this with oatmeal packets! I used to buy the instant oatmeal cups for like $2 each and then realized a giant container of plain oats costs the same as like two of those. Now I just add my own brown sugar and cinnamon and it tastes way better honestly.

Totally feel this Mila. @jake_torres68 would probably say I'm overthinking it but I started buying generic store brand oats instead of Quaker and saving like a buck a bag.
