Can we talk about how much a library card saves you on streaming?
Honestly, I just found out my local library gives free access to Kanopy and Hoopla, which is like 8 different streaming services for movies and shows. Anyone else using their library for stuff like this instead of paying for another subscription?

Totally, it sounds great until you try to use it. Felt the same way about the wait times, it drives you nuts. You get all excited to watch something and then see you're number 87 in line. The catalog is full of stuff that looks interesting but you can never actually get it. Ended up just going back to the one service I actually use all the time.

It's a good idea but the selection is usually pretty limited. I tried it and ended up waiting weeks for popular stuff. You still need the main services for new releases.

Yeah, you hit the nail on the head. I had the exact same problem with the wait times. It felt like I was back on a waiting list at the old video store. The catalog looked big at first, but it was mostly older movies I'd already seen or stuff I didn't want. I kept my main subscription anyway for new shows, so it kind of defeated the purpose of saving money.
