Saw a guy in Charleston using those new interlocking brick pavers for a driveway

Went down to Charleston last weekend and watched a crew lay down probably 500 square feet of those Unilock pavers in one day, and I'm wondering if the glue they use actually holds up longer than a traditional sand-set bed, has anyone put these things through a real winter yet?

Nah, my buddy put those interlocking pavers in his Charleston driveway two years ago and they're already shifting, the glue basically turned into a brittle mess after one freeze-thaw cycle. Sand-set might take more maintenance but at least you can fix it without a jackhammer.

Man, I gotta disagree on that one! I've had gluedown pavers on my patio for four years now through some rough winters and they're still solid as a rock. Sounds like your buddy might've gotten a bad batch of adhesive or the base wasn't prepped right.
