The Tuesday my lunch break turned into a 2-hour parking lot saga
Last week I finally had a free hour, so I drove to that new taco spot on 5th and Main. Got my food, sat in the car, and realized I left my wallet at my desk, of course. I spent 20 minutes digging through old receipts and gym bags before a guy knocked on my window, he thought I was having a medical thing. Turns out he was a mechanic off shift, helped me find my wallet under the seat and even paid for my tacos when I was short. Has anyone else had a stranger step in during a break that turned a bad day around? I still think about that guy every time I pass that parking lot.

My emergency brake story ends with me thanking a tow truck guy for jumper cables, not tacos.
