My old coffee thermos finally gave up the ghost this morning

I was on a job site in Bellingham, pouring my first cup, when the whole bottom just fell off. Coffee went everywhere, all over my boots. I had to run to the gas station and buy a new one for $25, which felt like a rip-off. Anyone have a brand of thermos that can actually survive being dropped from a truck bed?

Been there. My Stanley took a dive off a ladder last winter. Thing is dented but still holds heat for a full 8 hours. The warranty is solid, like Emma said. Just register it online and they'll sort you out.

Stanley makes a thermos with a lifetime warranty that covers drops. I sent mine back with a cracked base and they mailed a new one, no questions asked. Have you checked if your old brand offers something like that?

Just to clarify, it's a limited lifetime warranty, not a full lifetime one. They cover workmanship but not normal wear and tear. Did you have to pay for shipping when you sent yours back?
