I finally tried that 'deskercise' routine from a video my friend sent
I did the whole 5 minute set during my afternoon break yesterday, right by my cubicle. My coworker Janet walked by and said I looked like a confused windmill! The funny thing is, I actually felt way more awake for the rest of the day, even though I felt silly. Has anyone else found a quick stretch or move that actually helps during a short break?

Know exactly how you feel about looking silly. Tbh I do shoulder rolls at my desk and probably look like a weird robot. Honestly it works though, so who cares.

What gets me is how we're all pretending to be normal while our bodies are slowly turning into office chairs. I saw a guy doing ankle circles under his desk yesterday and it looked like he was trying to write the alphabet with his foot. We're all just doing weird little stretches to stay human.
