Can we talk about how nobody at my office actually takes a full lunch break?
I started timing it out of curiosity last month, and 9 out of 12 people in my building eat at their desks while staring at a screen. My coworker Dave finished his sandwich in 6 minutes flat and was back in his chair before I even opened my Tupperware. I get that things are busy, but sitting somewhere that is not your desk for 20 minutes seems to help me focus way more in the afternoon. Anyone else notice this at their job, or is it just my office that treats lunch like a race?
Hold up, 9 out of 12 eating at their desks isn't the same as nobody taking a full lunch, lol. Sounds like your office just has a lot of desk lunchers, which honestly is pretty normal.
