Am I the only one who was eating kiwi skin for a year before figuring out it comes off?
I grabbed a pack of golden kiwis at the Jewel-Osco on Clark last spring and just bit into them like apples because the skin looked thin and fuzzy-free, and my oldest kid watched me do this for about 11 months without saying a word. Then last week my 9 year old asked why I never peel them like Grandma does, and I finally looked it up and realized the fuzz on the green ones is not supposed to be part of the deal. So what's the actual rule here, do you peel the golden ones too or am I just supposed to keep pretending I knew all along?
