Ten years in, my fig tree surprised me with fruit.

I had stopped checking for blooms. Any tricks for dealing with plants that test your patience?

Actually fig trees do bloom, the flowers are just inside the fruit. That's why it's called a false fruit.

Fig trees don't have blooms, so that explains the surprise.

Is that even a real problem though.
