Found a weird mold in a batch of leather I bought online last month
Ordered some nice calfskin from a new supplier, and when I opened the box three days later, it had these tiny blue-green spots near the edges. I didn't think much of it and stored it in my garage workshop. By last week, the spots had spread to a full sheet. My mentor in Portland took one look and said, 'That's mold, and it'll ruin everything near it.' Had to throw out the whole batch and deep clean my space. Has anyone else gotten a bad leather shipment recently?
