TIL my tube rolling went from knuckle-buster to smooth after a guy in Tulsa showed me his setup
Back when I was starting out, I'd roll tubes by hand and fight the wrench the whole way, and my arms would be shot by lunch. About 6 months ago an old hand at a job in Tulsa showed me how he sets his roller so the tube feeds into it at a slight angle instead of dead straight. Cut my time per tube way down and the joints come out cleaner too. Now I set it at an angle every time and wonder how I ever did it the other way. Any of you run your tube roller at an angle or do you keep it square?
