Rant: the guy at our Friday meetup flipped the table during Settlers and I lost 3 painted minis
So I host a small board game group at my place in Boise every other Friday, usually 6 or 7 people, nothing crazy. Two weeks ago this newer guy Dave joins us for the first time and we're playing a 4 player game, everything is going fine for about an hour. Then he gets blocked on a trade, stands up, and just shoves the whole table. Cards flew everywhere, my drink spilled on the board, and my hand painted minis hit the floor, one of them snapped clean off the base. I told him he needed to leave right then, no debate, and he actually argued with me for 5 minutes before my buddy walked him to the door. I spent $40 replacing the figure and now I'm second guessing whether I should even let new people in the group. How do you all screen folks before inviting them to game night?
