Warned my cousin about orange juice and cereal, she picked it anyway, now I need a witness
So my cousin stayed over Saturday and made herself a bowl of Frosted Flakes with orange juice instead of milk. I told her that combo would be a disaster and begged her to just use the milk in the fridge. She picked the OJ anyway and took one bite before her whole face scrunched up like a raisin. She dumped the bowl after two spoonfuls and made me swear not to tell her mom. Has anyone survived cereal with juice, or is this one of those things nobody should ever try twice?
Have you noticed how kids (and some adults) just have to learn everything the hard way? It's like the more you warn someone about a bad idea, the more they want to prove you wrong, even when it's something as simple as cereal. Some lessons only stick after you taste them yourself, which is probably why your cousin dumped that bowl so fast.
