Wasted $150 on a hydraulic brake bleed kit that was total junk
Bought some no-name bleed kit off Amazon for my Shimano XT brakes and it leaked everywhere, made a mess and still left air in the line. Anyone else blow money on cheap tools that just made the job harder?

Bought the same kind of kit once. Total waste. The plastic plunger on mine cracked on the second squeeze. Ended up just grabbing a Park Tool bleed cup and a syringe from the auto parts store. Works great now. Sometimes you gotta pay a little more for the stuff that actually seals right.

Did you have trouble getting the Park Tool cup to seal on your lever, or was it pretty much plug and play?
