Picked the 9pm gym slot over the 6am rush and it changed everything

I used to drag myself to the gym at 6am because that's what everyone said you're supposed to do. After 3 months I was just miserable and barely going twice a week. Switched to 9pm after work about 2 months ago and I'm up to 5 sessions a week now. The place is basically empty, no waiting for the squat rack, and I actually look forward to going. Has anyone else found that the "best time" isn't actually the best time for them?

2 years of 6am workouts here before I cracked. Turns out I hate mornings more than I hate leg day. Empty squat rack at 9pm sounds like paradise honestly.
