Overheard a guy at Starbucks say his morning routine starts with a cold shower

I was waiting for my order and this dude next to me was telling his friend he takes a 2 minute cold shower every morning before coffee. Said it wakes him up faster than caffeine. I tried it this morning after my usual alarm and honestly I felt more alert by the time I got to the kitchen. Does anyone else have a weird morning hack that actually works better than the obvious thing?

Swapped my morning coffee for a 10 minute walk outside before breakfast. Feels like my brain actually turns on now instead of just buzzing.

Has anybody else read about the Wim Hof method? I saw a thing about it a few years back and cold exposure is supposed to do something with your dopamine levels. @grantp28, Ive been doing the walk thing too on mornings when I dont have to rush and it really does help clear the cobwebs.
