Can we talk about pellet grill smoke vs. stick burner flavor after 18 months?
I read a thread where a guy claimed his Traeger could match an offset after using a smoke tube for 6 months, but I tried that at my buddy's place in Kansas City last weekend and the brisket still tasted like a campfire ghost compared to his Lang. Some folks say pellets are just convenience for lazy cooks, others argue wood type matters more than the firebox, and I'm honestly split because my pellet ribs won a neighborhood cookoff last spring. Has anyone else blind-tested both side by side and actually picked the pellet one, or is that just sour grapes?

Figured out the real answer is whoever wins doesn't matter because we all end up eating cold brisket arguing about it. But yeah, my pellet ribs beat a stick burner once, and the guy just said my rub was cheating.
