I slammed my laptop shut during a work call because my kid wouldn't stop knocking, and that's when it hit me
My 4 year old kept banging on the bathroom door last Tuesday while I was hiding in there with my laptop during a 2pm team call, and I caught myself typing a reply with one hand while holding the door shut with the other foot. That's when it clicked that taking calls from the bathroom wasn't saving my job, it was just making me worse at both things at the same time. How do you all draw the line between hiding in here for 5 quiet minutes and actually working from here?
