Hit 1,000 steps in my bathroom last night and realized something weird
I'm holed up in here during my kid's birthday party, and I hit exactly 1,000 steps just pacing back and forth on this little tile floor. The sensor on my watch went off at 903 then rolled over, and I thought, man, that's the same number of ball valves I swapped out last quarter in Phoenix. Not sure why that clicked, but it made the whole noise outside feel a bit smaller. Anyone else reach a random number like this and get weirdly satisfied?

My watch did that same rollover thing when I was stuck in line at the DMV last month. Ended up at 847 steps just shifting my weight and pacing that gross linoleum aisle. Felt like a tiny win in the middle of a terrible hour.

Man, @finley_price24 that's actually wild but I totally get it. Sometimes those little fake victories are all that keep you sane in a place like the DMV. 847 steps just from shuffling around? That's practically a mini workout. I've definitely done the same thing at the dentist's office waiting room, pacing that tiny corner. It's like your watch is giving you a high five for surviving the boredom.
