My clippers died mid fade on Saturday, do I go cordless or stick with a cord?
Had a Wahl corded pair for 6 years and the motor finally gave out halfway through a skin fade on a walk in at like 4pm. Guy was cool about it but I felt like an idiot. Now I'm stuck between dropping $180 on a cordless setup or just grabbing another corded for $70. The cordless sounds nice for not tripping over the cable but I keep hearing the battery fades after a year or two. Any of you switch over and regret it? Or is corded still the way to go for a busy chair?
Corded all day for a busy chair. Batteries fade fast when you run them hard every day, and the last thing you want is it dying on another skin fade. Keep a corded as your main and grab a cheap cordless later for the odd house call if you really want one.
