Clipper blade snapped mid haircut yesterday - total nightmare

I was halfway through a skin fade on a regular when the blade on my Wahl Seniors just cracked and flew off, no warning at all. Had to finish with my trimmers and then run to the only shop open to pick up a replacement set - anyone else ever had a blade fail like that out of nowhere?

Switched to a cordless Andis Master and haven't looked back since.

I had the corded Masters for like 6 years and switching to cordless was a game changer honestly. The first time I didn't have to untangle that stupid cord while doing a fade I almost cried lol. Just keep an eye on the battery though, mine started dying after about a year and a half but a quick battery swap fixed it. Also if you drop them on tile like I do, the plastic around the battery door cracks easy so be careful with that.
