My oven door fell off mid bake and now my kitchen smells like burnt regret
Last Saturday I was making a birthday cake for my kid, 8 inch pans, and right when I went to check on it the door just dropped off the hinges onto my foot. The cake sank in the middle and the bottom got torched because the heat was blowing out the whole time. Do I try to fix the door myself with the hinge kit or just call a repair guy before I wreck another batch?

A door dropping off an 8 inch pan bake tells me the hinges were already shot, not a one time fluke. Order the kit and do it yourself, it's like 4 screws and a YouTube video, no reason to pay a guy 200 bucks for that.
