Spotted a minivan parked perpendicular across three handicapped spots at the Target on Main Street last Saturday afternoon.

Was it just me or does that driver think they're personally exempt from basic parking rules because of some kind of self-importance, and has anyone else noticed this happening more at big box stores lately?

I get what you're saying about the "just running in real quick" thing, I really do. But man, is a minivan parked bad across a few spots really that deep? Like yeah it's annoying and the person is a jerk, but some of y'all act like this is a personal attack on your whole day. I've definitely done the fire lane thing for 2 minutes while my buddy ran into 7-Eleven and I don't think that makes me a menace to society. Sometimes you just gotta be a little flexible and move on with your life instead of getting worked up over somebody's bad parking job on a Saturday.

Yeah I've been seeing this more and more honestly. It's like people think the rules don't apply to them once they pull into a parking lot. I noticed a guy in a big pickup the other day just stopped in the fire lane at Walmart while his wife ran in to grab something. They weren't even going to move. It's part of that whole "I'm just running in real quick" mindset where common courtesy goes out the window. Makes you wonder if they do the same stuff at work or in their neighborhood.
