Caught a BMW taking up 4 spots at Target today and the owner shouted at me
Saw a blue BMW straddling 4 spaces in a packed lot near the entrance. Owner came out as I was taking a photo, told me to mind my own business because it's a "nice car." I asked if he thinks his paint is more important than everyone else's time and he just walked away. Made me wonder if these people actually know they're being jerks or if they genuinely think they're special. Anyone else had a parking lot confrontation that made you lose all faith in people?

Oh wow, nobody's talking about the psychological side of it. These people aren't just being jerks for fun - they're probably terrified of their precious car getting a door ding because they can't afford the repair or their insurance is sky high. So they park like that to protect their investment, but it backfires because now everyone's taking photos and posting about them. It's like they're so focused on their own little bubble they can't see they're making enemies instead of protecting their paint.

Left a note on a guy's truck once for taking up two spots and he found me in the store to yell at me. Told him I'd move my car so he could see how tight the lot was from a regular spot, and that shut him up pretty fast. Some people just need a mirror held up to their nonsense before it clicks.
