Used to pull every weed by hand until a neighbor showed me a trick

I spent three summers digging out dandelions and crabgrass one by one. Then my neighbor Jim handed me a spray bottle of vinegar and dish soap on a Tuesday afternoon. Does anyone else have a ridiculously simple hack they ignored for years?

Vinegar and dish soap isn't some miracle hack though lol. I tried it on some tough clover and it barely did squat, just made everything smell like a salad for a week. Plus you gotta be careful because it'll kill whatever it touches including good grass. People act like hand pulling is this huge chore but honestly a good weeding tool and ten minutes a day keeps things in check without the guessing game. Not everything needs a spray bottle shortcut.

Whoa wait, you made your yard smell like a salad for a whole week? That is honestly hilarious and also kind of a nightmare. I just can't get over the idea of walking outside and all you can smell is dressing.
