The one thing new gardeners always mess up on tomatoes
I keep seeing people in my neighborhood stake their tomatoes way too late. By July 4th the plants are flopping everywhere. I learned this the hard way my first season in Ohio. You gotta get that cage or stake in the ground the same day you plant. Anyone else watch their neighbors struggle with this every year?

Oh man, not quite. I actually ordered mine a week before release day. But the delivery got delayed. Didn't get it until three days after everyone else was posting pics. Was kinda bummed about that.

the plants are flopping everywhere" lol ok dramatic much? tomatoes are resilient little weeds, theyll grow sideways if they have to. i staked mine late last year and they were totally fine, still got more sauce than i knew what to do with.
