My zucchini plants got covered in powdery mildew overnight
I was in my garden in Austin yesterday morning and the leaves looked like they were dusted with flour. I mixed one tablespoon of baking soda with a gallon of water and sprayed them down, which seems to have stopped the spread for now. Has anyone else had luck with a different homemade spray for this?

Honestly I used to swear by the baking soda thing too until I tried a milk spray. One part milk to nine parts water, spray it in the morning sun. Something about the proteins just nukes the mildew way better for me.

I mean my baking soda spray mostly just made my zucchini taste like science fair volcanoes.
