My tomato cage gave up halfway through the season

The cheap metal cage around my Cherokee Purple plant bent over in a storm about three weeks ago. I found it leaning at a 45 degree angle with the main stem pinched. I propped it up with some bamboo stakes and zip ties, but the plant hasn't been the same since. Has anyone found a cage that can actually handle a big, heavy tomato?

Everything's built to fail now.

Cherokee Purples get huge and need serious support. Those flimsy cone cages are useless for any big tomato plant. You might want to try building a heavy duty wooden frame next year.

Man, my buddy's Cherokee Purple totally wrecked his cheap cage last year!
