My neighbor said my tomato plants looked 'sad' and it was a wake-up call
She pointed out I was watering them every morning, which was keeping the leaves wet and causing some fungus. I switched to deep watering at the roots only every three days. The plants perked up in about a week and I got way more fruit. Has anyone else had to change a watering routine that seemed right?
Seems like a lot of work for a few leaves. My basil gets splashed all the time and it's fine. Plants have dealt with rain for a long time. Maybe some types are just more fussy than others.
