Hit 50 pounds of tomatoes from 4 plants this season

I planted four Roma tomato plants back in April not expecting much, but by August I had picked 50 pounds of fruit from my small 10x10 patch in Portland. It surprised me how one extra round of compost tea in June doubled my yield compared to last year. Has anyone else tried bone meal mid-season and gotten a big jump like that?

Oh man, that's incredible! 50 pounds from just four plants is amazing, especially in a small patch like that. I've been gardening for a few years now and I've never hit numbers like that from Roma tomatoes. I'm honestly jealous and also really impressed because my soil is pretty heavy clay here and I struggle to get more than 15 pounds a plant. Did you do anything special with the soil prep before planting, or was it all that compost tea boost? I need to try bone meal mid-season myself because my plants always seem to run out of steam by August. It sounds like you really found a winning routine.

Wait, you're telling me just that one extra round of compost tea doubled your yield? That's wild. I've been adding bone meal at planting time and then again in July, but never thought to mess with liquid feeds mid-season. I gotta ask, did you brew your own tea or buy it in a bag? I tried making my own once and the smell almost got me kicked out of the apartment.
