Took me 11 days to figure out my permit window for the Rae Lakes loop was off by one day
Called the ranger station in Three Rivers three separate times before someone mentioned the quota resets at 7am Pacific, not midnight, and I'd been refreshing the page at the wrong time for over a week.

The ranger station thing is on them though. If three different people couldn't tell you the right time before the third call, that's a pretty rough way to run a help line. Most of us just assume everything resets at midnight because that's how pretty much every other booking site works, concert tickets, campsites, you name it. And honestly the 7am Pacific detail is extra confusing since the loop is in California but half the people trying for it live back east and are doing math in their heads at 10am. Seems like they could just put the reset time right on the page instead of making you call and ask.
