I waved at a guy in a Des Moines parking lot who was waving at the person behind me
Last Friday I was leaving the Hy-Vee on University Ave and saw a guy in a red pickup waving, so I gave him a big friendly wave back. He just stared at me, and that's when I realized he was waving at his buddy in the car right behind mine. I had to sit there at the light knowing he watched me wave like a maniac for no reason. The worst part is I panicked and did a little nod too, like that would fix it. Has anyone else ever fully committed to a wave that was not meant for them?

Waved at a stranger who wasn't even looking your way and now you're acting like you committed a crime? Dude probably forgot about it before the light even turned green.
