Quiet hours at ORD taught me to recheck every pin twice
Last month I was doing a connector swap on a CRJ700 between departures at O'Hare. A gate agent came by and said 'two minutes till boarding,' so I rushed and landed a loose pin that passed the pull test but failed continuity later. Now I do a quick ohm check on every pin before I close up, even if it costs me a smoke break. Anyone else have a rushed job that bit them later?

Damn, that hits way too close to home! I did the same thing on an A320 a few years back, rushed a D-sub re-pin because the crew was breathing down my neck, and sure enough the autopilot threw a fit at 10,000 feet. Now I always double tap the pull test and run a quick buzzer check before I even grab the panel cover, and honestly my coworkers roast me for it but I sleep way better.
