Hot take: I thought those new plastic filler spreaders were just cheap junk.

My supplier gave me a free pack of the flexible plastic ones last month, saying they were better for feather edges. I used one on a quarter panel repair just to try it, and the edge actually came out smoother than with my metal spreader. The plastic didn't drag the filler like metal sometimes does. Now I keep a few in my box for final passes. Anyone else switch over to these things for certain jobs?
